Project Role: Art Direction and Graphic Design. Game Design.



Every card needed to communicate state, direction, and intent instantly, even when flipped or rotated.
This card-only combat game required a unique visual strategy. Cards needed to be readable from multiple orientations, and certain mechanics caused them to flip during play.
I focused on making positional changes immediately understandable so players could quickly assess whether a card provided offense, defense, or vulnerability in its new orientation.
